Lincoln Exhibit Gala Grand Opening

LINCOLN IS COMING

Aurora Community Theatre

A traveling exhibit entitled "Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War" from the American Library Association, The National Constitution Center, and the National Endowment for the Humanities will open with a Gala on February 23 from 6:30pm to 9:00 pm in the Aurora Historical Society Museum and Community Theatre. The gala will feature heavy appetizers, desserts and drinks. Advance tickets for the event are $25.

The exhibit will remain at the Aurora Historical Society Museum through Friday, April 5, 2013.

There will be additional free programs:
Saturday, March 16, 2013
    "Lincoln & Civil Rights During the Civil War"
     and "Abolishionists and Lincoln"
Saturday, March 30, 2013
    "Medical Advancements in the Civil War."
