Drug overdose deaths have increased rapidly across the nation and here in Portage County, becoming a major public health issue.
Attend a community awareness event to learn about:
• Drug Overdose Crisis
• The Addiction Process
• Resources in Portage County
• Project DAWN
Attendees from Portage County will be able to receive a free naloxone overdose response kit through Project DAWN. Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an opioid drug.
This event is FREE to the public. Handicap accessible.
