Mental Health & Recovery Board is the county government agency that funds, plans and monitors treatment services for mental illness and addictions for Portage County residents including residents of Aurora. Partially funded by levies, the Board provides information for finding the services it funds in the community. It also supports the 24-hour crisis intervention and suicide prevention phone line access for residents as well as providing substance abuse prevention education to thousands of students in the county.
